Moisture Diffusion Coefficient of Concrete under Different Conditions

Humidity change in concrete is the leading cause of shrinkage. Moreover, moisture diffusion coefficient an essential parameter for assessing and predicting internal content concrete. However, there a lack theoretical construction experimental studies on effect different conditions, especially constraints, Therefore, humidity, pore structure parameters, basic mechanical properties under strength grades C30, C40, C50, C60 (C stands numbers indicate class concrete), curing environments (dry sealed conditions), constraints were tested this study. In addition, calculation model concrete’s humidity was established. The research findings show that decreased with age due to hydration drying. External had significant concrete, lower external larger faster decreases. Reinforcement (confinement) changes parameters which turn affects transport within higher reinforcement rate, coefficient, method proposed study can accurately predict using coefficient. results are reference preventing shrinkage cracking construction.
